NEW YEAR MESSAGE: Alabi OSPOLY Rector Charges People on Diligence, Commitment *As the school resumes tomorrow, 2nd January

As people all over the world celebrate the New Year festival, the Acting Rector, Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Mr. Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi has charged members of the Polytechnic Community to re-dedicate themselves to the services of God and humanity, just as the Acting Registrar, Mr Abiodun Oyedele Oloyede says the Institution re-opens tomorrow.

Mr. Alabi in a New Year message to the Polytechnic Community congratulates the management, staff and students of the Institution, saying "I welcome you all to a New Year of Divine Hope"

Mr. Alabi charged the entire members of the Polytechnic Community to love one another, be diligent in their services and re-enact their sense of commitment to duties.

 The Acting Rector also used the medium to commend the Governor of Osun State Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on the series of his welfarist Programmes packaged for the entire civil servants in the state in the outgone year, saying "the Governor has really brought succour to the people of the state." He also noted that the series of developmental programmes, especially road constructions, embarked upon by the Governor are manifestations of his love for inhabitants of the state. He prayed that God would continue to strengthen him in his efforts to paddle the canoe of the State to a safe harbour.

 In a related development, the Acting Registrar of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr Abiodun Oyedele Oloyede has declared that administrative and academic activities would commence in the Polytechnic tomorrow, 2nd January, 2024. He urged members of staff to be on their duty posts, as lectures would also start immediately in all departments of the Institution.

 Mr. Oloyede said all the students are expected to resume immediately, except those the ND 2 Full Time students who are currently on their Students Work Industrial Experience (SIWES).

 Mr. Oloyede also urged the newly admitted students in ND 1 and those in HND 1 who have not completed their screening exercises to ensure that they report at the Admissions Office and their respective Faculties for prompt completion of the registration before 10th of January after which they might forfeit their offer of admission for 2023/2024 Academic Session.
