OSPOLY IREE GOVERNING COUNCIL MEMBERS INAUGURATED AMIDST PUMB AND CEREMONIES AS DIRAN AYANBEKUN CHAIRS THE NINETH  BOARD

Chairman of the Nineth Governing Council of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Hon Diran Ayanbeku, has charged the newly inaugurated members to collaborate with Osun State Government at ensuring quality and standard education that will contribute to the growth and development of the country.

Hon Diran Ayanbeku dropped this hint while inaugurating members of the nineth Governing Council of the institution.

 Speaking at the well attended programme held at the Governing Board Room of theInstitution . Hon.Diran Ayanbeku attributed the achievements recorded in the last few months to the proactive understanding and progressive minded staff of the institution.

 According to him, the State Government is committed to providing purposeful leadership as well as unparalleled administrative skills at turning things around in the state. 

Appreciating the laudable steps of Senator Ademola Adeleke for putting well experienced and professionals as members of the nineth Governing Council of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

 Earlier in his welcome address, the Acting Rector of the Institution, Mr Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, who was flanked by top and extended management members of the institution said, the citadel of learning has achieved various developmental and innovative programmes which has helped the institution to be above its pears in Nigeria.

 The Acting Rector said, the institution recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka for the running of Degree programmes in vocational and Technical Education .

 He added the institution is putting all proactive mechanisms in place for a possible affiliation with the University of Ilorin for the running of ten degree programmes in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

 In their various remarks, members of the nineth Governing Council affirmed their readiness to partner with the Osun State Government and Management of the institution to further promote quality education in the country.

Members of the nineth Governing Council of the Institution who were sworn in by the chairman, Hon. Diran Ayanbeku,are; Hon. Sunday Ogundiji, QS Adesoye Aderemi Idowu, Hon Lateef Amoo, Dr David Ogunsade, Otunba Gbenga Olakolu , and Chief Sunday Adebiyi. Others are Brigadier-General Aderinola Awodele(Rtd), Hon Ademola Opadola, and the National President of Ospolyiree Alumni, Alh Yakub Akeem Adebayo.

The Acting Registrar of the institution, Prince Abiodun Oyedele Oloyede thanked the Executive Governor of the State for populating the Governing Council with distinguished men of integrity. He also the Management, Staff and students as well as other members of the Polytechnic Community for their massive support at ensuring a peaceful atmosphere in the institution.

Highlights of the programme are facility visits of the Governing Council members to all studios, laboratories, workshops, lecture rooms and structures of the Institution.
